1. What is Operation Socialization™?

Operation Socialization is a program that drives more customers to dog-friendly businesses, while helping puppies grow into behaviorally healthy adults.

2. What services do you offer dog-friendly businesses?

When you become a member of Operation Socialization your business will be identified on OperationSocialization.com as a Socialization Destination™.

Other benefits include:

• Local dog trainers send clients to your store to get their Puppy Passports stamped.
• 1 window decal to identify yourself as a Socialization Destination.
• 50 Puppy Passport stamps
• A quarterly e-newsletter with OS news and marketing ideas.

3. Do I have to be a pet-related business to participate?

Absolutely not. As long as you're happy having local puppies visit your store and can offer a safe, clean environment, we welcome almost all types of businesses. See exclusions.

4. How involved do I have to be as a member?

Being part of Operation Socialization is as easy as it gets. Just stamp Puppy Passports when pet owners visit and provide a clean, safe, environment for puppies. That's all there is to it.

5. Do Puppy Owners follow any guidelines when visiting Socialization Destinations™?

Our puppy owners work with professional trainers and are asked to take The Puppy Owner's Pledge:

√ Socialize my puppy early (< 6 months)
√ Keep my puppy current on vaccinations
√ Wait 7 days after the first round of shots before attending a puppy class or visiting a Socialization Destination
√ Keep my puppy on leash (except when it's safe not to)
√ Provide my puppy with careful, adult supervision
√ Clean up after my puppy
√ Keep my puppy in good health
√ Read and remember the Socialization Safety Guidelines

6. How do I know if I am eligible to become a member?

Business eligibility requirements:

• A safe, clean, puppy-friendly environment
• Agree to our Code of Ethics
• Dog lover!

7. How do I become a member?

The application process:

• Submit the application & agreement (application & agreement, Code of Ethics, Trademark Usage Rules)
• Fee of $75

1. What is the cost of membership renewal?

$75 (includes one Business Action Kit)

2. What do I get when I renew?

Each annual renewal comes with one Business Action Kit that includes:

• A Fact Sheet for employees
• 1 Socialization Destination window decal
• 50 Puppy Passport stickers

3. How do I redeem the coupon code I received from my local OS Trainer?

It's easy. When you submit your application enter the coupon code given to you by an OS Certified Trainer™.

4. How do I update my information?
